Jamie Crawford is tired of being famous just for once he wants some peace and quiet. Wild Rose Bed and Breakfast was exactly what he needed to relax and that was the plan, not rescuing its owner, Lorenna Beauchamp that was one thing he didn’t need in his life. One good thing is that she doesn’t own a TV nor does she follow the whole celebrity world, which is good but there are some issues with her. What Jamie never expected was his attraction towards her. He’s dated beautiful women before yet with her it’s something different than with the others. He knows for sure that if she ever finds out about his true identity, since she thinks he’s just a vet, it will cost him the chance of finding the great love that his parents had before they died. Will finding love mean the end of his career?

Lorenna Beauchamp hates actors and actresses and the whole celebrity globetrotting thing it consists of and for good reason. Her father was an actor and to her at a young age she felt neglected since her father wanted fame more than being just her father. She knows Jamie is up to something and swore that she will never have a fling with one of her guests, yet he is making her feel things like that she is a woman with needs. There is still a nagging feeling in her that the sudden feelings she has for him might be one-sided. Can she have a future with Jamie when she knows he’s hiding something? Can she ever forgive her father for neglecting her to be in Hollywood?

Love, lies and yes the possibility of finding your great love is in this beautiful book by Denise B. McDonald. I liked the story line of an actor looking for quiet and finding love in the process. Jamie is like every girl’s dream guy with his sincere caring, good looks and the passion he has in him, which will make you swoon. I liked that this is making Lorenna crazy and sticking with the plan of no flings with the guests becomes difficult. I admired Denise B. McDonald for keeping Jamie’s true identity throughout the book yet bringing in great secondary characters that in a way made this reviewer crazy with the suspense if Lorenna will ever find out. All in all The Inn Crowd is one you’ve got to read for it’s not your typical romance from her, but great for it has it all from suspense, passion and to the comedy from her mother planning her fifth wedding to a dog that is into black leather to its colorful owner. I loved it all and can’t wait for more by Denise B. McDonald.
