Hell
Hell by Jet Mykles is the third book in the Heaven Sent series telling about the lives and loves of the members of the rock group Heaven Sent.
Brent is a member of the rock group Heaven Sent, but he has always felt like the odd man out. No one has ever wanted him for no other reason than just for himself. Brent’s feelings of inadequacy cause him to act remote while he unconsciously yearns for what his best friend and band member has. Luc has someone to love him for himself, but Brent has never found anyone who was willing to take the time to see him as he really is. This is about to change.
Heaven Sent is scouting a well known keyboardist to possibly add depth to their music. The first time Brent sets his eyes on Heller Witting, Heller looked larger than life, from his unique and vibrant clothes to his mischievously-angelic appearance, until his music alone blew Brent away. In Heller, Brent found someone who shared his intense love for the perfection of music. Once Hell, as they call him, joins the band, Brent begins to notice other things about Hell: his cute appearance, his bubbly attitude, his cute laugh, his desire to spend extra time to work on music with Brent, and his attentiveness to Brent’s needs. Things come to a head when Hell sees a side of Brent he never expected and he stays by his side. Will Brent’s negative feelings prevent him from possibly finding the love of his life or will he allow others to help him overcome them and find happiness?
Ms. Mykles has created a very moving story and added the character of Hell who is so vivacious that he comes to life for the reader. Hell and Brent are perfect foils for each other, but in their differences, they fulfill each others needs. The conflict between them is so realistically drawn that the reader can feel their feelings and the pain that they experience. The love scenes between Hell and Brent are both fun and poignant at the same time. This book is a wonderful addition to the Heaven Sent series. It is this reader's hope that there will be future books about the rock group Heaven Sent.
