Missing in Action by Amanda Young is an erotic action packed story.

Sara’s life hasn’t worked out the way she planned it. Her life was all planned out until the unthinkable happened, Tristan, the love of her life died leaving her to give birth and raise the son he never knew about alone. In her grief, she turned to his best friend Mark, but even after starting a new relationship with Mark, Sara never completely got over Tristan. Sara keeps seeing Tristan, even though everyone tells her that it is impossible because he is dead.

Little does Sara know but Tristan isn’t really dead and the last time she saw him she almost caught him. Tristan is working for a very covert government agency that sent him to his hometown to track down and kill supernatural assassins. Tristan and his friend Shame were recruited after they were fatally injured in a war zone. Given the choice of a new life or death, they chose life, but at what a cost. Tristan lost everything that mattered to him, but when he sees Sara again all his feelings for her reemerge. Will Tristan and Shame find the killer before everyone else is killed? How will Sara respond when she learns that Tristan is still alive and all that he has gone through? Will Tristan figure out a way he and Sara can be together?

Ms. Young has created an action-packed drama with just enough spice to appeal to a wide range of readers. The characters of Sara and Tristan seem to leap off the pages and take on a life of their own. I found myself feeing their pain and joy as they approached and overcome each obstacle. They love scenes were very erotic and descriptive, definitely not for the faint at heart, but very appropriate for the storyline. Add to this the very strong and steadfast character of Shame and you have a storyline that just doesn’t stop. The paranormal aspect was the icing for the story. Thanks goes to Ms. Young for a very enjoyable story.
