On the Down Low by J.M. Snyder is a homoerotic short story.

Nick is like a fish out of water at a party. Not only does he look younger than the rest of the college guys but he is a much lighter color, but the most important thing is one that his roommate isn’t even aware of, he is gay. His roommate Tyrone’s best friend De Andre is some one that Nick wants to become acquainted with, much better acquainted with if you get the meaning. Tyrone introduces them and there is a chance that Nick will get his wish. Will Nick and De Andre become better acquainted in the biblical sense?

Ms. Snyder has created a short story that gets right to the heart of the plotline with sensuality and heart. Nick is very reminiscent of many young people looking for their place in the world and testing limits to find their hearts desire. De Andre is the ultimate older and wiser person that can instruct Nick about what he needs to learn. Putting Nick and De Andre together is like adding a match to dynamite, you just wait for the explosion of sensuality. Thanks goes to Ms. Snyder for such a great read.
