Melanie Anderson’s second novel in her stock car racing series, Born to Run, picks up the pace and turmoil with main characters Lynn, Troy, and Jake. The scenes with Gary and Pam, the main characters from Ms. Anderson’s breakout novel and first in this series, On the Run, is like revisiting old friends. Ms. Anderson captures the fast paced, competitive world of the race car driver, crew, and fans. Her knowledge of the sport and lingo is quite apparent and makes this story incredible. Whether you’re a race fan or not, Born to Run will leave you satisfied. Melanie Anderson deserves a checkered flag for this one!
