Anything For Charity
Charity Smith has been chasing media shy Ryan Foster for days. Her boss demands she get the story even though the computer billionaire avoids the press like the plague. She needs her job, so she needs to reach Foster somehow. Her brother, though, is making that very difficult. His troubled teenage antics are coming close to getting her fired, until Ryan’s brother gives her a tip she can use. What follows is a case of assumed identities, putting a career over human emotions and the thought that even the worst mistakes may be forgivable.
Anything for Charity is a wonderful story. Charity Smith is someone we all know, someone we could be or have met. She’s just an ordinary woman trying to get by and make the best of the hand she’s been dealt. Her parents’ death and the way she assumes responsibility for her younger brother make her a sympathetic character. Charity’s actions are endearing and she is a very likeable person, even if she doesn’t always make the best decisions. Ryan and Charity’s relationship is very sweet. I loved the exchanges between the characters. The dialogue was perfect in this story, completely believable and entertaining. Ms. Fitzgerald weaves a lovely romance in this charming tale.
