Gaps in Your Soul is part of the Naughty Nuptials series; it’s a quick and delightful read that is just perfect if you’re a believer in revenge gone awry. Jared’s career is his life. Admitting his sexuality to himself or to others would spell the death of the career he has worked so hard for, so he keeps his true self firmly hidden away. He even hides his feelings, especially those about Dalton, from himself. Dalton, in contrast, has been out of the closet for ten years. He has always known that he is in love with Jared and on the night they shared he had thought there could be something between them, until Jared cut and run. There are barriers that need to be broken through if this pair are to have a chance, but anything worth having is worth fighting for, as these two learn. I loved both these characters, each of whom has the opportunity to tell the tale from their own side. They are well-rounded, well-developed and are exceedingly likeable characters. The chemistry between them is hot, kicking the story off from the get-go with some real big fireworks, grabbing your attention from the first and keeping it until the very last.
