Damn the Man

Maggie Chapparelle has gone through a lot in the last four years since her divorce. She watched her little girl be buried, lost her best friend to breast cancer and most of all, the love of her life. What she doesn’t need is her ex-husband coming into her life again saying he still loves her. She knows that it is for their children he comes around, yet each time he does she can’t deny the sexual attraction. She was the one who let him go the first time and knows that if there is ever going to be a relationship again it would kill her heart. Though they were young when first married Maggie knows one thing, she will always love Nick whether divorced or not. Can she continue to see Nick when all she wants to do is be with him forever?

For Nick Chapparelle the divorce devastated him and instead of fighting he just ran away. Determined to correct the mistakes in his past he comes back with one mission: to make Maggie fall in love with him again. Though they have twins it’s not enough to bring his Maggie back. He knows that if he loses Maggie again he will never be the same. Can he prove to Maggie that he’s not the same man he used to be? Can he continue his seduction and prove to her that they’re meant to be together again?

Wow, Damn the Man is hot and Michelle Witvliet did a beautiful job in this wonderful story. I loved the determination of Nick not giving up on his woman even though they have been divorced for quite some time. Maggie was a tough cookie to crack, but once she showed her sexual attraction and deep love for Nick she came out a beautiful heroine in this book. Nothing disappointed me in this book. Michelle Witvliet has a hit with this book with a man so in love he will do anything he can to prove that he’s changed. Awesome job to the author and I can’t wait for more from this promising author.
