One Night on a Balcony

Jill Reed is a virgin but wonders how long she’ll be able to claim that right after Cole Adams moves into the apartment next door to her. During one of her nights that she is not able to sleep she finds Cole with another woman on their shared balcony and watching them gets her all hot and bothered. After her self induced orgasm, she is panting and then wants to die when she realizes that Cole knew that she was there and invites her to join them next time. She is totally humiliated and vows to avoid him at all costs. Unfortunately, Cole has other ideas and plans to get to know Jill really well.

Cole Adams has been married three times and doesn’t plan to go for number four. He wants to just play the field and enjoy the women that he is encountering now; until he meets his neighbor Jill. From the minute that he sets eyes on her, he is enchanted and wants to get to know her better. However, he knows that he has made bad choices in the past and doesn’t want to get too serious about her. After he witnesses her come unglued at his balcony experience, he knows that she experiences the same things that he does and vows to break through her barrier and get to know the real Jill Reed.

One Night on a Balcony is one of the best books that I’ve read in a long time. The sex is blazing, the story if compelling and the characters will jump out and get you they were so hot. From the very first words the narrative grabs you and pulls you into the story, and I really didn’t want the story to end. I liked the fact that this story was a quick read, but I would have enjoyed it just as much if it had been a lot longer. I would love to have seen some development about one of Cole’s friends, and I’m hoping for a sequel to this book with that person. Some books I have to really think about do I want to give it a Recommended Read but with this book I knew immediately that it would get one. Congratulations Ms. Lucas for a great book!
