Only You
The fifth installment in the Grayson’s series stars Sierra Grayson. Beautiful, successful, charming, and stubborn, she is not going to fall in with her matchmaking mama’s schemes.
Sierra is a successful real estate broker but has dreams of much more; she intends to become the exclusive broker for Navarone Place, a high class condominium complex. Landing the position will cement her career and assist her in opening her own brokerage firm. When Blade discovers she is one of the candidates for the coveted position, will he show favoritism or will he allow her to earn it on her own? Blade is a dangerous man to Sierra’s well being. He unleashes feelings Sierra has never felt before, let alone for someone as secretive and powerful as Blade. What is the sadness behind his eyes? What is in his past that has hurt him so? Why does Sierra feel like she wants to be the one to heal him?
Tragedy has taught Blade to steer clear of personal involvement with women. Losing his wife has left him a reclusive and bitter man. Though he intends to steer clear of the beautiful Sierra, he finds she is an unforgettable woman. She has wormed her way into his head and no matter the amount of work he can’t seem to get her out. To solve the problem, he plans to embark on a mutually satisfying affair, but that may be easier said than done in Sierra’s case; she’s no pushover. When two strong personalities come together the results can only be exciting.
Welcome back to the Grayson family saga, where the men are strong, but none is stronger than Ruth Grayson, matchmaker extraordinaire. Blade is a tortured soul whose persona intrigued this reader in Dreaming of You. He is an emotionally wounded individual who has a lot of love to give if he will only take the chance. I found myself hoping he would open himself up to the love he so desperately craved, all the while crying inside for the hurt he carried around like a shirt of nettles. Sierra is his perfect match in every way; loving, loyal, brave, with so much love to give to the right man. She is a woman many women would love to call “friend” for her dedication to the underdog, her caring personality and her genuine warmth. Sierra and Blade’s explosive sexual chemistry is a living breathing entity, culminating in an emotional and romantic encounter. The powerful descriptive powers of Francis Ray allow the reader to step into the story and become an active part of the surrender of Blade and Sierra to their fated union. The secondary cast of characters includes cameos from earlier novels and introduces readers to future storylines. I highly recommend this book if you love a great love story; Only You should be on your shopping list.
