The Dragon’s Mate is a quick short story about an honorable woman that has the desire to truly live. Karee is compassionate and offers readers a genuine personality. The cast of secondary characters are delightful additions to the story. With a plot that spans a great distance in a small number of pages, readers will be pleased with the sensual journey they take. This reader found she was hoping Karee could live her dream. Karee has a heart of gold and it is only fitting that another heart of gold is within her grasp if she will only reach for it. Beth Caudill created a wonderful paranormal tale laced with honor, nobility, and dragons. 4 Angels!
