Forbidden is a quick little story that encompasses many emotions. Claire and Cade must deal with anger, heartache, and explosive passion all at the same time. The emotional roller coaster will have readers crossing their fingers for them to find happiness in the end. The added hint of danger gives the story another element of intensity. Cade’s bravery and Claire’s desire to be happy allow readers to bond with each character immediately. The passion that they find in each other’s arms is tender and tantalizing. Moira McTark was able to create an emotional punch in a small number of pages. 4 Angels!
