Shumei is on the lowest rung of the social ladder, because of the color of her hair. While her village is hit with a catastrophic disease she must deliver the medicine but she is running low on the herb that she needs. Now she must make a run for the medicine fields, but it is close to sundown and at night the demons run wild in the woods that she must go through to get to the fields. Shumei is in an awful predicament because not only does she have to take care of her family from the disease, but she must fight off the advances of the leader of the village but also her suitors. Shumei has to make a deal with a demon when she is caught by the demon.

Vallen is a sex demon. He has to have sex to live and he is in danger of dying when he catches Shumei in the woods. He was a human that was cursed by a woman scorned. Now he must roam the world and seduce women to survive. Vallen seduces Shumei and uses his magic to bind her to him and they make a deal. Vallen knows she is different from all the other women he has been with and all he wants to do is take her away so he can take care of her. While their relationship heats up there are demons and the damned one that want to put an end to their lives.

Ruby Duvall has the spice that the readers are looking for. Caught in the Devil’s Hand is an intriguing, sensual, and spicy romance story that will have readers begging for more. Ms. Duvall has created a new world for us and between the demons and the divine ones, is one that will have the readers screaming from the emotional roller coaster ride. Caught in the Devil’s Hand is a wonderfully written tale that gives the readers what they want and so much more. Ms. Duvall has knocked this reviewer for a loop with this awesome story. Caught in the Devil’s Hand’s heroine is unique and she will touch the reader’s heart with her tale and Vallen is one fabulous hero that will heat the reader up in more than one way and when these two get together look for the fireworks. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Duvall comes up with next.
