Catnipped

Catnipped is a novella about Charlie who, while trying to buy her dog a new toy, gets in the middle of a were-cat fight. During the scuffle, she gets nipped in the ear and now Charlie is allergic to herself and in trouble of becoming a shape-shifting tiger. The only way to stop that from happening is to have a sex ritual with the man who bit her, Quinn. Charlie has no problems with doing the deed; she just wishes it were with Luke, Quinn’s brother.

Dakota Cassidy has written a sizzling short story. She packs a lot into the pages, it was fulfilling and exciting. Luke is a strong, sexy hero who understands what needs to be done, and doesn’t let it effect his feelings for Charlie, who is also a strong character. She doesn’t go crazy over the whole were-tiger ordeal, and she understands the need to do the ritual. The chemistry between Charlie and Luke is hot; I couldn’t wait to see how they handled the sex ritual. Quinn is also sexy, his presence is not a huge one, but he holds his own. The ending was extremely satisfying and I would love to read more about Dakota Cassidy’s were-tigers. Catnipped is one of the better novella’s out there, and it is definitely one everyone should read.
