Esmerelda Hawks is a half – blood fey; her closest friends are mostly half – blood too. George is the leader of the club, she is part dragon and she wanted to choose not be chosen. Each of the group had a reason similar to hers for joining the club and letting Esmerelda cloak them so that they all blended in.

Esmerelda’s time of blending in is over, she is going before the Fey Council where her talents will be tested. This will lead her on a path unanticipated, she will face ups and downs but with her Siren ability will she find the fey for her?

This is my second book of the Half Blood Club and I have thoroughly enjoyed them. Viola Grace has another exceptional series going with the Half - Blood Club and Affinity, book two, was an excellent addition. Viola Grace has taken this group of women with one main thing in common, though each has unique abilities, personalities, and interests and developed a lovely friendship. Affinity is Esmerelda’s story and it has been just as enthralling as the first. Coming out, so to speak, was tough for her, but what she has to do to keep control maybe even tougher. Affinity, book two of the Half Blood Club, was a wild ride and I wont miss Viola Grace’s future books in the series.
