Melissande born a half-blood in the Yellowpaw clan, her mother was disowned when she married a human. Melissande, known as Jinx to her friends for her awful luck, is also an Archive, she is able to create spells for the other magical races to use.

Once she has been outed she tries to hide but many hunt her for her gift. A pact has been made between the wer and Melissande’s grandmother that she would be given over to the werewolves for protection and her choice of a mate in exchange for her gift.

Archive is book four of the Half Blood Club by Viola Grace. I have read quite a few books by Viola Grace and have never been disappointed. Archive is no exception, this book is part of a series I have not read before. It can be read by itself but I am heading out to get the others as soon as possible. Melissande may be a half-blood and a beta, unable to use spells, but she is no wimp. The winner of the play day and Melissandes’ choice is scrumptious, and definitely more than meets the eye. This was a fast run, spell writing, girl’s night, ogling naked men, confrontations and happily every after all in a quick gasp. This series appears to be a delight and Archive is a star. Thank you Ms. Grace for this fun frolic.
