Theolyn Boese had me totally involved in Ta'e'sha Chronicles: Daughters of Terra in a matter of minutes. She tells the story of Theadora Conner; a young woman of earth kidnapped and brought aboard a spaceship of the Ta'e'sha, who are acquiring women from earth because they are physically compatible. The Ta’e’sha were forced down this avenue because a virus scoured their world and left the women infertile.

Theadora is chosen by Kyrin, the captain of the ship, and his mate Daeshen, a science officer aboard the ship. Theadora has no living family left and few ties on earth but the culture shock leaves her reeling. Her attraction to the men is immediate, and she must fight the social attitudes and values she grew up with to accept this new world.

I hope this is the beginning of a new series, please Ms. Boese I didn’t want it to end. Ta'e'sha Chronicles: Daughters of Terra enveloped me in this world; I felt like I was carried along with the other women, Kyrin and Daeshen have tried to anticipate Theadora’s wants and needs. However, there is still plenty for these two species to learn from and about each other. If you like a futuristic that absorbs you into the mix you’ll love Theolyn Boese’s Ta'e'sha Chronicles: Daughters of Terra.
