Lynn Sterling’s Journey to Diir grabbed me by the throat and wouldn’t let go. I want to say right off this is the longest eBook I have read to date, and one of the best. Lynn Sterling crafted Journey to Diir with lots of love and attention to detail; you can read it in every line. The characters; human, alien and AI all have elements of strength and weakness, you love some, you hate some. As the main characters come together you feel a part of the whole as it evolves. The trials and tribulations are tough to deal with after the relative calm of Andrea’s early days but they move the story along. The secondary characters belonged and merged nicely with the whole. There were several surprises along the way. This story had it all trauma, danger, humor, compassion, empathy and most of all Love. Lynn Sterling is a must buy for me now and Journey to Diir is an adventure I can’t wait to continue.
