On the day of his wedding, Brad Linsey is dumped by his fiancée….through her best friend, Jenny. Jenny has had a crush on Brad forever but after seeing his behavior at being dumped and hearing the crude comment he makes about her, Jenny believes she is over him. Several months later, Brad has been in a car accident and has begun to mend his ways. However, he spots Jenny at a Halloween Party and decides on some retribution. Brad has had a thing for Jenny ever since she told him off the day of his canceled wedding. Knowing that Jenny is unaware of who he exactly is, he decides to finally get Jenny where he wants her….

Candy Corn and Cocky Kisses is a well-written quickie. The storyline is intriguing and sucks the reader in. I truly enjoyed the story – I couldn’t put it down! The sex scenes were phenomenally hot. The role playing and dress-up added to its intensity. Alyssa Brooks and Larissa Lyons are wonderful writers who work extremely well together. The story was seamless; there was no evidence of two writer’s, only one flawless story. I also liked that the idea of forgiveness and starting over that were present in the story. These are ideas that any reader can relate to. The storyline in Candy Corn and Cocky Kisses was completely realistic and was executed wonderfully. This was a great story!
