Sebastian Bradley is not alive…but not quite dead. Locked away in his mansion, no one has entered in eighteen years. Except that it is now Halloween and a huge party is being held in the mansion. Picked by Celeste, a party planner, the combination Halloween party and wedding ceremony are supposed to be the talk of the town. However, the hostess demands more entertainment for her party and Celeste obliges. For Celeste, getting Sebastian to show up would certainly enhance her job performance. Can Celeste find Sebastian in the old mansion? Is Sebastian everything that the rumors claim? Conversely, can Sebastian trust Celeste with his secret? The party carries on as the two make their discoveries….

I could not get enough of this story! I thought that the plot was ingenious – the paranormal aspect of it set it apart. Ghostly Awakening is a super hot, super quick read. While the story is not a probable one, Lacey Savage’s skilled writing lends it an air of creditability. I thought that her characters were well-formed and perfect for the story. Lacey Savage was able to create a solid story that did not rely heavily on the sex scenes. However, the sexual scenes were rich in detail and extremely hot. By the end of the story, I was rooting for the main characters and was rejoicing in their happiness. Ghostly Awakening had all the key elements of a hit book. Lacey Savage is an amazing writer – I hope to read more by her in the near future! This book is a keeper – I plan on reading again and again.
