Double Deutsch

After a messy divorce from a man who traded her in on a younger, thinner woman, Catherine Lakeland takes up a transfer to Germany. It’s just what the doctor ordered, a new start in a new country for her new single life. Striking up a friendship with Geli, a sex worker, Catherine begins to think about what sex would be like with a man other than her husband. When Geli lays down a challenge Catherine can’t resist, one night as a sex worker is as thrilling as it is scary. But what will Cat do when not one but two gorgeous men pay for her services?

Catherine is a mix of nerves and excitement, clearly bouncing from one to the other. Her intrigue with a no-strings night of passion is easily related to and is well written. Geli’s challenge is hard to resist, after all she’s always loved sex, that’s one area where her ex did treat her well. Not ready for the entanglements of a relationship, Geli’s offer gives Cat everything she’s after. Ritter and Gunter are both gorgeous and hard to resist, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t need to pay me. The sex is hot and adventurous without pushing too many boundaries. Shayla Kersten does a brilliant job with the sex scene; it flows naturally and steams up the room nicely. Double Deutsch is the sixth book in the Destination Pleasure Series and if the others in the series are as good as this one I’ll be collecting another set of books. I wouldn’t hesitate to pick up another book by Ms. Kersten just because her name is on the cover. Double Deutsch is a quick read for when you need a little warming up; just have the cool drink or hunky guy ready for afterwards.
