Spells at Midnight

Renee is a witch but also a woman tired of being alone. Desperate for her soul mate she decides to give fate a little push and casts a spell she hopes will bring her one true love. A satyr is the last thing she expected but Zachary turns into everything she could have ever dreamed and more. Playing her body like a fine instrument Zachary and Renee connect immediately. Nothing great is ever easy and Zachary will have to go back to the Otherwold in order to find a way for him and Renee to remain together or their one glimpse at happiness will be lost forever.

When I think of furry legs, hoofed feet and tiny horns I just can’t imagine how it’s possible to make a man with such items sexy. Glad to see Spells at Midnight’s protagonist was not only sexy but commanding and lovable to boot. I guess it would be pretty hard to turn a being known for their great desire into anything but a lustful dynamo. I was happy Jenna Castille made Renee into a good witch, with a wholesomeness that couldn’t be dimmed even with all the bad things she’d seen. This story is just the right thing for a late night sweet tooth, just as much sugar as the most enticing of Halloween candy but won’t add any pounds to your hips.
