Dawn’s Awakening was one of the most heart-wrenching of the Breeds series to date. A woman that faced every primal fear that women have and survived, Dawn was an inspiration. Lora Leigh did a great job of showing how Dawn overcame things yet still fought the emotional, mental, and physical scars that she had. Not a woman to curl up and hide, she still had moments that made her very real.

Seth was another fantastic character and a perfect match for Dawn, but this was totally her book. I am impressed with Ms. Leigh’s ability to keep a series fresh and yet remain true to the core story. Brava.
