Elijah is a warrior among warriors, his powers are amazing and his strength is legendary, especially amongst the Lycanthropes. When Necromancers surprise him and he’s grievously injured, he must trust the very people he’s fought against for centuries. Siena, Lycanthrope Queen, takes him under her care and they find that Fate has much in store for them.

Siena happens upon Elijah and while she knows who he is, he’s in no shape to figure out who she is. With his horrible wounds Siena knows that he must heal before she deals with the repercussions the ambush implies. While tending to Elijah, Siena finds herself fighting with her feline side. When he awakens and becomes aware of her identity they begin a fight against their bodies, hearts, and Fate herself.

Elijah marks the third foray into the world that Jacquelyn Frank has created. Peopled with Demons, Vampires, Necromancers, and Lycanthropes, the Nightwalkers series has it all. Including amazingly Alpha men and powerful, confident women; like Elijah and Siena. These two heat up the pages and climb straight into your heart with their insecurities and their strengths. I was really intrigued by the Lycanthrope society as well as some of the really, well, cool details that Ms. Frank came up with. There are a number of new characters introduced and there can only be more in this series. Damien will be out in June and I cannot wait to see what’s in store for him.
