It’s Christmas Eve and all Elle Sutcliffe wants to do is hide away from all the mistletoe and happy couples so when her best friend Ricki Delaney asks her to look after Kool Kreme, the ice cream store she owns, Elle agrees and hopes her higher than normal body temperature doesn’t melt everything in sight.

As Ricki is leaving, she informs Elle that her old high school crush Liam Blackhawk, was back in the huge freezer making an ice man for an upcoming ice sculpture competition.

Now that Elle knows that Liam is in back, she cannot stop herself from going back to take a look except when she walks into the freezer, she finds only the sculpture of a sexy, naked man but no Liam. Elle reaches to touch the sculpture and figures that just a quick touch couldn’t hurt. Could it?

Fire and Ice by Lacey Savage is part of the Changeling Christmas Cookies series and an excellent addition to the series. The characters in this book are both entertaining and appealing with enough heat between them to melt an iceberg. Author Lacey Savage has penned a unique short story that will defiantly warm up a cold winter night. 4 Angels!
