Edge of Sanity Book 2 continues the story of Jake and Joss with chapters four through six.

Detective Jake Gilford is still trying to find what on earth is causing the deafening animal noises in Joss Wheeler’s house at night and his search leads him to the discovery that the loudest sounds were coming from her bedroom ceiling and the ceiling of the bedroom next to hers but after searching the floorboards and finding nothing, Jake decides that the next logical place to start searching would be the attic.

After searching for the access point to the attic, they finally find it hidden in a small closet and proceed with the search of the attic only to discover a skeleton dressed in woman’s clothing that had to have been put there recently.

I have to admit that I’m definitely hooked on these stories! Author Jenna Byrnes had done a terrific job in creating the mystery and suspense that sends your mind wondering at what is going on and why.

The spark between Jake and Joss threatens to burn out of control as these two spend more time together and only adds another layer to the already intriguing story. I am eager to start on Book 3 in the Edge of Sanity story.
