After years of separation, Kirel and Nelina are brought back together through a prophecy from the cards. Both have had to face pain and loss, but it is Kirel who also has to come to terms with the fact that his loyalty to the King is in direct opposition to his love for Nelina. As he struggles, he also realizes that he has strong feelings for his fellow king’s Guardians, Thor and Domenic, and only by working with them can he have Nelina again…even for the short training period. As for Nelina, she’s not some weak willed woman giving in to the extreme sexuality of these three men. She establishes herself as a woman who is strong enough, giving enough, and loving enough to become their next queen.
