Not Her Mister Right

Emma is going insane. Her mother is determined to get her married. She is sure all Emma needs is a nice man to take care of her. However, Emma is convinced that no man would want her. After all, she’s not rail thin and beautiful like a Barbie. In fact, she’s pretty full figured. Most men don’t want those things in a woman. Especially not one that they’re considering for the long haul.

Finally fed up, Emma comes up with a plan. However, her brothers and sisters know that Emma with a plan means trouble in the works; bail money, extradition, who knows with Emma. Nevertheless, Emma is planning to play it cool this time. She’s just going to date until she finds “Mr. Right” and then she will marry him and get her mother off her back.

Jake is back in town and he may have something different in mind for Emma. He wants her for himself and isn’t taking no for an answer; even though that’s all she’s been giving him. Emma just cannot seem to believe that a man like Jake could want a woman like her. She thinks he’s just playing games with her. How can Jake convince her he’s being sincere?

Be prepared to laugh till you drop with Not Her Mister Right! This story was hilarious. I love Emma and Jake. No matter what Jake said to her, it was taken the wrong way. In addition, Emma’s meddling mother was a hoot! Rachel Carrington never fails to impress readers with her imaginative characters and storylines. Although I haven’t had the pleasure to read very many stories where the heroine seems to be overweight and the gorgeous guy still wants her, I’d like to give high praise to Rachel Carrington for showing me the light. Being a larger woman myself, I was able to connect with Emma and her feelings and insecurities. It was great that Jake never judged her by her size. Thank you again Rachel Carrington for another engaging, heartfelt story as only you are able to accomplish.
