Dipped in Chocolate

Dipped in Chocolate is a delicious collection that offers a wonderfully hot romance within each story.

Renee Luke starts of the collection with best friends Alexis and Jackson. Gimme Some Sugar finds Alexis counting down the days to her wedding. Only instead of joy, each day closer to the nuptials fills her with dread. Jackson is beside her at each fitting and cake testing, but he won’t be the man meeting her down the aisle. When their long standing teasing takes a sensual turn, is it nerves or something more?

Talk about an excellent beginning. Gimme Some Sugar has humor and friendship paired with a healthy dose of heat and plenty of love, and they all combine to create an endearing romance.

Toni and Isaac continue the romance in 4 U Sweetheart. Toni’s friends think this dedicated photographer has gone too long without a man. Not content to set her up on one blind date, they convince her to give speed dating a chance. When she resolves to document the night as a failure, Isaac sits down and both are surprised by their instant rapport and chemistry. Is there enough between them for more than a night?

I thoroughly enjoyed the sensuality in 4 U Sweetheart. Toni and Isaac are well matched in their passion and the resulting scenes are excellent. Isaac’s unique means of communication is fun, tender, and had this reader hoping they would get more than just one night.

Dipped in Chocolate rounds out this collection of romantic stories. Nathan came to the chocolate store for one reason, but when he sees Jayla his plans shift. Her alluring beauty and beguiling personality have him hooked; too bad she has no interest in a relationship.

Nathan and Jayla are a wonderful couple and their romance brings this collection to a great close. Ms. Luke balances Nathan’s tender pursuit with the erotic pleasure they find together. It is easy to see the dimensions of their emotions and how it grows into something more. Well done.
