Erin Shay’s dream has come true: she is heading up her own research project. She has worked hard and at long last her hard work has paid off. Kale knew from the moment he met Erin that her bad girl persona was just that. An outer façade hiding the real Erin. He also knew from the start that she was the woman for him. Coming home from headquarters to work with her is an opportunity too good to pass up. He knows getting her to trust him is going to be difficult, especially in light of her desire to have only a casual affair. Kale wants forever, the whole nine yards. Can he convince Erin that she wants the same thing?

Pleasure Prolonged, the second in Cathryn Fox’s Pleasure Games series, is a decadent read written in a refreshing and engaging style which is sure to capture and keep your attention no matter what you are doing. These characters are fabulously developed and excellently portrayed. I loved them! There is even a villain in this piece, whom I felt deserved a good slap. The sizzle between these characters seems very real. Love scenes are very sensuous and well detailed. There is some spanking, but this is very mild and all other sex is fairly traditional (if you discount the public places – yep, I did mean to use a plural). The story flows smoothly and made me smile often, though to say I also got hot and bothered would be an understatement. I look forward to reading the prior story in this series, as well as any subsequent tales. For an excellent hot read with great characters and an enjoyable storyline, collect your copy of Pleasure Prolonged ASAP!
