Tessa Garrett goes to Hadley Castle in England to get away from it all. Her boyfriend has been sleeping with her girlfriend, so a vacation seems to be a good choice. In fact, her man’s latest lover is the same girlfriend who books the trip for her. The castle is in the exact replica of one that she has dreamed of since she was a child. At the castle, Tessa is thrown back in time to the 13th century. Eric Bartholomew, Lord Hadley, finds Tessa on his estate. He takes her under his wings and helps her. The attraction between them is palpable, but Eric is betrothed man.

Tessa has to adjust to her new life. It is a challenge, especially for someone who is used to the modern conveniences, but she is able to adjust. Tessa comes across as a very strong and levelheaded woman. Eric is an utterly delicious hero. Her relationship with Eric is spirited, and they fall in love. The chemistry between them is clear as the author develops the storyline. It is a storyline that is truly filled with twists and turns with a villainess that will do anything to keep her hold on Eric. The author does a great job of pulling the reader into the story. Tessa’s true identity will give the reader a jolt!

Another Time, Another Place is an intriguing time travel romance. Eric and Tessa are two likable leads who readers will fall in love with. The time travel aspect could have been expanded but overall this was an enjoyable story from start to finish.
