White Doe, one of the ancient Mountain people who are powerful other world dwelling spirits, has her eye on Manko. He is a lonely Apache Warrior who is eaten up with guilt that he was on a vision quest while his people were taken prisoners by the Soldiers. He is on his way to rescue his people, when a white doe appears to him.

He shoots the white doe that actually turns out to be a woman. Will she be able to heal his wounded soul or will they be two spirits just floating on the clouds?

Vonna Harper certainly has a hit on her hands with Apache Tears. Make sure you have a fan when you read this steamy story. The characters of White Doe and Manko open your hearts up to the plight of the Apache while their hot sexual encounters heat the body up.

Having never read anything by Vonna Harper before, I am definitely going to find some more of her books. This book was certainly worthy of a look. Well written prose and heated love making make Apache Tears one book I would recommend to anyone!

Not only do the characters come alive before your very eyes the emotional issues each struggle thru and attempt to come to gripes with make this book all worthwhile.
