Can they move from friends to lovers without losing their friendship in between?

Eric has fantasized about his best friend, Lauren James. However, Eric is too much of a nice guy to act on his feelings and has resigned himself to being Lauren’s sounding board for bad relationships. When her latest man sends her running to him, he’ll do whatever it takes to make her happy again. Of course it doesn’t hurt that what she wants is a passionate night in his arms. When morning comes, can he convince her he can be more than her Rebound Guy?

The Rebound Guy delivers a fresh, passionate telling of two friends moving from friends to lovers. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the “good girl” and “nice guy” take a bad turn and find passion as a result. Eric is a delicious male lead. He is tender, intelligent, and committed to Lauren in the bedroom and out. Lauren is a wonderful compliment to him and together they set off sparks. I appreciate the hesitation and doubts the author portrays as this truly makes the characters much more believable. The story flows smoothly and although short, the progression of their relationship is natural, tender, and marked with a poignant, heated chemistry that definitely makes it worth all five of its angels.
