Elizabeth has come back to her hometown, the one place where she didn’t ever want to go back. However, circumstances’, being broke and unemployed, are making her go back to the one person that loves her, her grandmother. Grandma Sarah has been the only person that looked out for her since her mother was more interested in partying and doing drugs. Seeing the way her mother’s lifestyle was, Elizabeth made a pledge to never be like that and to have her child never feel neglected. Growing up she had one person who she loved, Daniel Rivers, son of the most prominent minister in her hometown. Like star-crossed lovers, Elizabeth couldn’t have Daniel because she came from the wrong side of the tracks. She is determined to ignore Daniel for Elizabeth has a secret that will break him. The thing is even in small towns secrets have a way of being told and sometimes there are angels that give us the strength to continue on when it seems that you are lost, feeling no one is there for you.

Daniel Rivers has no idea what drove Elizabeth away all those years ago. Now that she’s back he is determined that she gets back in his life. He knows in a way that he failed her for back then he was like a hero to her and now he’s a man without any dreams to accomplish. Now with her and Grandma Sarah opening a restaurant he wants more than ever to prove to Elizabeth that he is not going anywhere, willing to do anything to make her see that he still loves her.

Conspiracy of Angels is aptly named for this book is not only romantic in a way but has one thing in common throughout the novel and that is never give up on faith. Here is a woman who has gone through a terrible ordeal with drugs and a man in her past trying to make her life better for her. Not only does she have herself to worry about but she has her son Alex, who by the way is adorable in this book. There are secrets that Elizabeth is keeping from those she loves especially Daniel. I liked that even though he’s hardly seen Elizabeth throughout the years he still loves her. This book has so many secondary characters but I think my favorite was Grandma Sarah. Talk about a feisty old woman for she knows that in order to overcome anything in life you must have faith in God and that all things in life happen for a reason. This is not your usual romance but better because its got faith, love and second chances that will make any reader love it. Zinnia Hope did a beautiful job in keeping the story going by adding mystery and a secret that must be revealed. I loved it and Zinnia Hope did awesome job.
