Stripped

Amanda Thomson has had a bad week and now the worst hangover that is killing her. She has worked hard as a web designer at an advertising company and now realizes it was worth nothing. Her boss hires an outside person to be the head web designer and now Amanda is pissed. To lift her spirits up her best friends hire a stripper to fill the rest of her day with excitement. The thing is that this is not your usual dancer for he has no idea how to dance but knows how to get her libido running. She thought they would never lay eyes on each other again but unexpected things happen for Amanda.

Jake Waters is a man who just got hired at a new company, hopefully one where he can spend more time with his little girl. It was as a favor for an old friend that has him pretending to be a stripper at a woman’s house. The hostess, Amanda Thomson, is changing his life dramatically making him wonder how he can make it up to her once the real reason he’s at the new company is known. Jake knows that this is his last chance to make a difference for his little girl at this new company but seeing Amanda each day is making him realize that he needs a woman to love him. Can he make Amanda see that his job is not the only important thing in his life but her and his little girl?

As a hard working girl it’s understandable why Amanda will hate the person that takes her promotion away. Man oh man, I can see why Amanda will quickly start to like Jake. From reading about his effort to dance like a stripper, I fell in love with him. I mean here’s a guy who will do anything to help out a friend, so he has to be a man you can love someday. I liked the fact that Rhonda Stapleton started each chapter telling the reader who is talking in certain parts of the story from Jake to Amanda. At times it was confusing but once you got the hang of it and got more into the book it became easy to understand. I loved the book and kudos to Rhonda Stapleton for making Stripped enjoyable and a favorite for this reviewer.
