Desire’s Storm
Greg Voit is the filthiest richest man in the world, a very suave business man who doesn’t like to waste any time in making deals. He’ll even fire a relative if necessary. With a multi-billion dollar resort to run, he unwillingly listens to his mother and idiotic doctor and heads to the Caribbean for a month-long cruise. He feels he doesn’t need any relaxing vacation and certainly not by the looks of a storm that appears to be brewing. Greg is surprised to find he has been shipwrecked on an island with a gorgeous woman that really is bringing life to his body.
Princess Alena’s people have been guardians of Mother Earth for generations. When she sets her sights on Greg, she realizes his type is what is wrong with the world, one that never realizes his family is irreplaceable. What really matters is that she knows it is her destiny to mate with him. This is one paradise that he doesn’t wish to leave. With the weeks to follow, Greg and Alena spend some pleasurable moments together but she can only wonder, with the time that he has spent in ecstasy, if he has really changed or will revert back to the past of money being his talisman and compass. When Greg must leave and return home, she wonders if he will ever wish her to be his rescuer again or is their love lost forever.
Desire’s Storm is one of those stories that the reader starts and doesn’t like to finish until the last page. As soon as I read about Greg and his high ambitions prior to the shipwreck, I had to see the outcome. Greg comes off as a high-powered playboy who, with the help of a loving woman, by the name of Alena, who is a delight in herself, learns the real value in life. Trixie Stilletto pens a simmering read with sensual characters that ignite the island with fireworks. I liked the way she incorporated the dream like sequence that blended in quite well to this delightful tale. It was a refreshing read that I enjoyed.
