The Commander

At forty-six years old, Hank Miller is a leader. To the men of Task Force Zeta, he is known as ‘commander,’ and one who hides his feelings well. After meeting Lois, or ‘Mama’ to some, that image is about to fly out the window. After twenty years raising her boys alone, the divorced Lois realizes she has never had time for Lois until she meets Hank. When one of the team members go to ‘Mama’s’ to host their wedding, Hank and Lois experience feelings they never imagined. Hank makes her feel special. He imagined her to be short, plump and covered in flour and is surprised when he sees thereal ‘Mama,’ a beautiful woman that knocks him off his senses.

Bull

When a training exercise goes awry, Bull feels responsible. Seeking solace, he heads over to his girlfriend’s, only to find her dipping with another guy in the hot tub. Distraught over the situation, he takes an assignment not caring about the details, unaware he will be a baby-sitter for Senator Dickson at a gathering. Marly’s breakup with her boyfriend put a damper on her playing the harp at the party gig where she’s having a hard time remembering the music. For Bull, there is one upside to the evening and that is seeing the lovely Marly. When he learns there is a bomb threat, he begins to have his suspicions about the cutie when he learns there was no record of her on the list to play. Could his instincts be wrong about this sweet woman who jolts a string in his heart?

Matt

Matt Coleman, computer geek, communications specialist, may be good at his job but finding love is a different story. All he has is his computer to keep him company, and even when he tried hooking up on the computer, it was always unsuccessful. Sam Foster has the same work position as Matt and often the two exchanged emails and instant messages. They have never met and Matt doesn’t know that Sam is a female. Matt is sent to Dubai on assignment to help with a guidance system. As guest of the royal family, his every need will be met. Sam is there on a different mission, as part of the harem. When Matt and Sam meet, fireworks really explode.

Trilogy No. 107: True Blue is a great book with unforgettable characters. Hank and Lois bring out the good qualities in each other that they never felt before with a delicious romance. Bull is such a sweetheart, a cuddly bear who is still there to defend at any cost, while maintaining his manly attributes. I like the way he is paired with short little Marly, who has true grit throughout. They make one winning couple. Matt’s story is amusing as he searches for a release to his sexual jaunts. Pairing Sam and Matt together and the clever plot of this story was awesome.Cat Johnson creates a spectacular read. She pens uplifting, powerful men with tremendous zeal and courage. She gracefully illustrates stories that make the reader want to jump up and cheer while molding just the right woman to complete each man in every way. The stories are so exhilarating and packed with punch that this reader fell in love with them.
