At the Edge

At the Edge is a Phaze Heat Sheet Fetish by Marty Rayne.

Michael is alone walking in New York in February, in the town that doesn’t sleep, and all he can think about is his boyfriend Todd. Things have been strained between them lately, between their differing schedules and demands he is worried about them breaking up. Before he left for the trip with his friends, he told Todd about his hidden fantasy to be bound and at the mercy of his lover, but Todd didn’t give him any response negative or positive. Michael worries that he may lose Todd over this. Michael returns to the hotel in spite of his friends suggestions and finds the surprise of his life. What does Michael find and will he enjoy it? Where is Todd and can he accept this new side of Michael that he never knew before?

Ms. Rayne has taken the world of BDSM and added a new light to it for her readers. The characters in the story are well written and flow well together. The plot line was unique and comes as a complete surprise to both the characters and the reader. Michael shows remarkable courage in telling his most hidden secret to Todd, even at the possibility that it could cause him difficulty. Todd’s response comes as a complete surprise to Michael and one that ends up as a delightful interlude for both of them. Thanks go to Ms. Rayne for a delightful read.
