Solstice Spell
Cursed by a Druid when his love ‘em and leave ‘em ways hurt the wrong woman, Rupert Donaldson spends his days as a white stag and his nights as a man alone. Imagine his frustration when he realizes he must find his true love and have her accept him by the Winter Solstice, only a few short months away. Luckily for him, he’s got a sexy new neighbor who may just be exactly what he needs…now he just has to convince her!
Newly divorced, Gillian St. Charles moves to the isolated cabin in the woods to get away and try to start over. Surprised to find the white stag in her yard, she slowly grows to enjoy its company…as well as the company of her sexy neighbor Rupert.
Can Rupert make Gillian fall in love with him before her brother can bag the stag and put Rupert’s head on his wall for a trophy?
Solstice Spell easily enchants. Cursed because of his past ways, Rupert has isolated himself and come to realize the error of his ways. Although the curse calls for his falling in love, he never really gave it too much thought…first because he thought he had plenty of time and second because he realized he really wanted to find his mate. As for Gillian, she’s feeling lost because of her recent divorce. Although she knows it was best, she still feels the pain and loss of her dreams. These two so obviously needed each other and I loved how they finally got together. The chemistry between these two, along with the easy flow of the story made Solstice Spell an engaging tale you won’t want to put down.
