A Slave's Way Out

Catrin is an Earth woman on the run when she meets Niko Arrian. She had to find a way off this planet that was steeped in the BDSM lifestyle, maybe she's found her way finally. Catrin knew a warrant had been out for over a year on her. All she wanted to do was get back to Earth. But the Ligers' -, who'd kidnapped her from home, wanted her back to continue their testing of her. So they'd placed a bounty out on her hoping someone would give her back to them. She needed Niko's help and she hoped she'd get it without having to give too much away, namely herself. But it looks like Niko has other plans for Catrin that doesn't include her going home. He's hot enough to make her knees weak, heart palpitate, and her insides weep for joy. Catrin just may change her mind about heading back home, if she can get him to understand she needs to be able to fly the fighters and not sit back and only be his sex slave.

Niko couldn't believe it when Catrin literally fell to her knees in front of him, things seems to be looking up for him. He hadn't understood why his mother had told him to be in that bar a certain time and in a specific chair, but now he knew and it all had to do with this beautiful woman sitting on his lap. The more time he spends with Catrin, the more he knows he can't turn her over to the Ligers' or anyone else, she's his. How can he tell her he knows where there's a doorway that will lead her home without losing her? Read this great story to find the answers and go on a great journey through the stars as they find their way.

I've read a lot of books over the years, but A Slave's Way Out is one of the hottest I've read in a long time. It isn't just the chemistry between Catrin and Niko, which explodes off the pages, or the dynamics of the secondary characters. It's that C A Salo shows a woman can be not only outstanding in her job that she fights for but also that she can be dominated by her lover and not look weak. When the reader first starts reading this book they are sucked into a different time and space right off the bat and aren't let go of until the last word is read. They realize the voyage is over. I hope C A Salo writes more about these characters as the world she's created is one you'll want to visit over and over again to see how each one is doing. This is definitely going on my keeper shelf and I am looking for more of her stories.
