Thomas Adler’s day is going from bad to worse. He’s stocking the displays in the toy store he works at and it’s snowing. In fact, it’s snowing enough that by the time he leaves it’s almost impossible to drive. As Thomas struggles to start his car he idly wishes he could run away from the cold to a tropical beach – with a hot man of course! Suddenly, not only does he find himself in a tropical beach, but a tree-full of frogs turn into men.

The Frog in the Room is a great fantasy short story. Ms. Buchanan wove an enchanting tale that is funny, engaging and erotic. Thomas is your typical lonely man dreaming everyone’s winter fantasy – tropical beaches and a hot man! Thomas gets what he has been dreaming about, but with a twist; he needs to decide whether he will go with it or return to his life which is a little boring and a lot cold. The Frog in the Room is a great summer beach read. Pick it up when you go shopping next time.
