Incognito: Collaring Kat

Dalton Carrington has relocated from New York to Miami. As he sets out to visit the infamous fetish club Incognito, Dalton is riddled with excitement. Not necessarily from his impending visit, Dalton wants to lay his eyes and hands upon Mistress Katriona, Incognito’s owner, again. One kiss was all it took to cause Dalton’s desires into overdrive leaving him determined to claim her and her heart all for himself. Mistress Katriona has spent years building her club and dominatrix persona. She has been successful in both endeavors. When author and pain in her side, Dalton Carrington, shows up at her club, she is definitely not happy. Not just because she fears he will expose her club to the world outside, Katriona fears that she will not be able to protect her one secret if he touches her again. She can lose everything in his hands.

Collaring Kat is the fifth book in the Incognito series and does not disappoint. The pages are riddled with emotions, uncertainties, and decisions. Katriona is a complex character and Dalton is just the man to unravel her. She is tender-hearted even underneath the leather, nails, and flogger as well as loyal to those she cares about. Dalton is a strong-willed, determined man laced with a side of compassion and eludes sexiness in everything he does. The moment the two of them let go in an attempt to deal with the sparks flying between them, it rocks both of their worlds and the readers too. This reader has read many stories and it is rare that she wished to be a character in a book, but this one did it for her. She would have gladly traded places with Katriona to have an opportunity to have Dalton all to herself. The secondary character, Carl, was a great addition to both Katriona’s world but also the plot. He added an element of realism and depth. Madison Layle and Anna Leigh Keaton continue to amaze this reader with a series that only gets better with each turn of the page. Since I am unable to have Dalton, I will gladly add Collaring Kat to my bookcase of must haves. 5 Angels and Recommended Read!
