When Sophie’s boyfriend dumps her for a paralegal, she decides it’s time to take a good, hard look at her life. Nick Dufour, the owner of the resort where she’s staying, has his eye on her. When he approaches her they have an instant connection and what follows can only be described as hot and wild! Their affair is something he’s wanted for a long time, and it helps Sophie examine her life in detail. Her feelings for Nick may spur her to change her life, leave her profession as a lawyer behind. But Nick has a secret that may have a bearing on Sophie’s decision.

Fijian Fling is a hot, sexy story that is well written. Sami Lee pulled me straight to the shores of the tropical island and once there, I stayed willingly! This is the perfect short summer story. It would be great in the throes of winter, too, when you need a bit of sunshine and sand! I liked the way Sophie and Nick came together, as naturally as if they’d planned their tryst. Sophie is smart enough to realize a good fling may be just what she needs to clear her head after her boyfriend’s indifference. The way Nick reveals his secret is heart-wrenching. I could feel his anguish as he tells Sophie the truth. Sophie’s feelings are crystal clear, too. The ending is perfect for this story! Fijian Fling is pure fun!
