Torrid Teasers, Volume 34 is a delight. Both stories, Can’t Walk Away and Captive Audience, take place on a train and I can just imagine reading these two while commuting to work! Wow!

Can’t Walk Away is the story of Felicity Sumners, a woman who is chastising herself for being foolish over a man named Grant. Grant doesn’t deserve her, but she needs a little something to bring that fact home to her. Fortunately, she meets Mallin, a sexy stranger on the train. The way these two get to know each other is very, very hot!

Captive Audience is another tale of a woman, Vivian, trying to leave behind what she’s got for what she deserves and needs. In this case, it’s her husband, a man whose physical touch isn’t loving. Vivian is followed onto the train by Gavin, someone who has wanted to get closer to her for a long time.

Both of these stories are interesting and entertaining, and I think many women could relate to the situations. The sex is hot and would certainly steam up any train compartment, but there are places where the dialogue feels contrived. In no way does this really detract from either story, though. The situations, especially in the second story, seem realistic. I especially liked the way these two characters in Captive Audience, Vivian and Gavin, are more than one-dimensional. I felt her pain and wished for her to find happiness.

All in all, Samantha Lucas’ Torrid Teasers are truly enjoyable! Definitely worth reading!
