Last Breath is one of the best books I’ve read lately. The plot was taut and rife with tension, and had me shivering in my chair as Daria and Connor advanced ever-closer to the evil that lurks just beneath the surface of the who-done-it. Characters are well though-out and carefully drawn, and Ms. Stewart shows her talent for sucking readers right into her perfectly tuned story. With just the right amounts of romance and suspense, I’ll go so far as to call Ms. Stewart one of the principal authors of this genre of material; I have no problem saying that, once again, she delivers the goods in a spine-tingling thrill ride of passion and plot mastery. Connor was deliciously male without being over-the-top alpha, and Daria was exactly what was need to balance Connor’s “just the facts, ma’am” mentality. Five Angels and the coveted Recommended Read for Last Breath!!!
