To most people, Leilani Wakefield is just your average book and gift store owner. But there’s more to Leilani than meets the eye. For starters, she has almost nightly psychic dreams. Dreams that have been known in the past to assist local law enforcement. Lately, she’s been having a recurrent dream that she can’t seem to resolve. The man in her dream is apparently able to see her, instead of her being the usual witness to the event, and he pleads to her for help.

Unsure of where to turn, Leilani looks to her fellow sisters of The Lotus Circle, a group of women who all have unique talents and abilities. One of them suggests past life regression, and it is during these sessions that Leilani journeys through several past lifetimes. She learns that she’s passionately loved the same man in each life, only to have their love, and lives, end prematurely.

Determined to learn the whereabouts of her dream man, she starts following the clues of her dreams and past lives to find her soul mate, even if it means she’ll be putting her life in danger. Because this time, she’s playing for keeps.

Dreams of You is a suspenseful story of tragic love through the ages. A smooth and seamless blend of past lives, psychic dreams and eternal soul mates, this story enchanted me. I love the way that Campbell del Rio cleverly used a theme in all of the lives of the male character. As Leilani regresses through her past lives, the bond between the two grows stronger, cementing her determination to find him in this life, and allow their love to have a chance to blossom.
