Torrid Tarot – Sword and Crown
Fifteen years ago, Rhea was exiled from her planet, Molari, and placed on Earth as punishment for an unavoidable crime that she committed with the purpose of protecting the people on Molari. Now, the evil Nameless is back with a vengeance and it seems that the people of Molari are in need of Rhea’s Talent as a Practitioner of sex magic to save all before it is too late. And, if that wasn’t enough to master, in order to ward off the Nameless’s dark power, Rhea is expected to practice her sex magic with none other than Jax, her former lover and the man who walked out on her many years ago.
Will Rhea be able to trust Jax enough to successfully complete their task at hand? Will their past history get in the way by creating major havoc and thus proclaim the Nameless as the winner?
Sword and Crown is a story about a woman struggling with the issues of being abandoned by her people and most of all her family. Instead of becoming a lifeless and timid person because of her exile, Rhea develops a feisty, robust, resentful personality; nevertheless, she is willing to go home to save her people if they are willing to restore her full magic and to withdraw the banishment against her. Jax finally has an opportunity to correct all his wrong doings by Rhea. Because of his immaturity many years ago Jax threw away Rhea’s love; now, he is determined to prove to her that he is a changed man and more importantly, iregain her trusting heart. The sexual tension between Rhea and Jax were scorching hot and erotically passionate. I took great pleasure in watching Rhea and Jax’s story unfold, feeling their emotional turmoil and seeing how they were willing to try to overcome numerous misunderstandings, past betrayal and massive heartache. I found Sword and Crown to be a compelling story and I was hooked from the start.
