The Senator’s Daughter

Sophie is scared of her wedding day for it’s not your usual cold feet most brides get, but she literally despises her soon-to-be husband. What she didn’t expect was to be kidnapped by a hunk of a stranger and feel more comfortable with him than with her own fiancé. All Sophie knows is that this stranger has rescued her for a little while from having to marry a man which she prayed for interference in anyway. Her fiancé has something on her father, and since he is a senator, she will do everything she can to see that his campaign is not destroyed even sacrificing herself. Can she find the man of her heart before she goes to the devil himself, her fiancé?

Brent has done many kidnappings before but none have affected him like Senator’s Adam’s daughter, Sophie. Now here is a woman who is not a fragile flower, like her father says she has spunk, attitude and definitely gorgeous in his eyes. The problem is she thinks he’s a bad man for doing this, but Brent has his own secrets behind the whole kidnapping ordeal. One thing he knows for sure is that this is not your usual bride anxiously waiting to be married. He knows that her fiancé is up to something and will do everything he can to make sure that he is the only man for her. Can he prove to Sophie that he is the man of her heart and not her present fiancé?

The Senator’s Daughter by Debbie Wallace in one word is wow for its suspense and oh so gorgeous kidnapper. What I liked about this was that Sophie is not the usual bride but is terrified of marrying her fiancé willing to do anything even sacrificing her own life to a man who really doesn’t love her. Now Brent, here is a man who I wouldn’t mind being kidnapped for Sophie is one lucky woman. The attraction between them is evident from just the first page with him spying on her. These two sound like an old married couple with their arguments but they make up with the sex which between them is hot. I loved the book and can’t wait for more of Debbie Wallace’s books. Here is an author who knows suspense and erotica mix very good to make a great book. Great job!
