Till Death Do Us Part

On her way to visit her sick mother, the ship that Delphine le Vasseur is aboard falls prey to an attack. Delphine is shocked when the pirate captain takes her for himself and intends to force his attentions on her. Delphine cannot allow this to happen. She is married to François Le Vasseur and even though her life with him has been without love, that doesn’t give her the right to allow this pirate to take her for his pleasure. But Captain Jack Lott is a pirate and he takes what he wants. She has to find a way of escape but falling into the hands of another pirate was unforeseen. Quinn MacDermott, Captain of the Royal Navy, intends on stopping Lott and any other corrupt pirate. Finding a gem with Delphine was an even greater treasure. Delphine has no idea how to act but things take on a different light after she learns she was supposed to die on the ship. After learning that Francois wasn’t the man she married, she realizes to stop the wicked pirates and get back at the one who wanted her dead, she must entrust her life in Quinn’s hands.

I could read a story by Jennifer Mueller again and again, and each time, I would still be swept into ecstasy. Till Death Do Us Part is a satisfying read that grabs the reader immediately. The wide range of emotions she instills in her characters always fascinates. Delphine is faced with much in her life, and throughout it all, I considered her a grand trooper. It took guts to put up with the stirring events in her life and she still shows courage. She and Quinn are quite a romantic pair considering the situation. This rich, wonderful story delivers a swashbuckling tale that comes to life. I can always find remarkable romance, and an exotic escape into paradise, with a story by Jennifer Mueller.
