Born Again Virgin
Kelsey Simmons made a vow four years ago to wait until she found her Mr. Right before she had sex. She thinks that she has found him in a guy that she has been dating. Just to prove to him that they are the perfect pair, she buys a dress that will either convince him or send him running for the hills. Her best friend loves the dress but she has some doubts about it, so she decides to ask an older male friend, who is coming by to give her an estimate on fixing up her house, what he thinks of it. She opens the door expecting to find someone old enough to be her grandfather and instead finds someone that she would like to jump his bones and get very physical with; his stepson KD McKinley.
Right after Frank had a heart attack and asked for help with his business, KD didn’t think twice about coming to help him. He goes to Kelsey’s house expecting to see walls that need to be torn down or repainted. He never expected to see a woman dressed like a Las Vegas showgirl open the door for him. It quickly comes to the point that Kelsey and KD want each other very much and give into temptation, however there are a lot of misunderstandings that lead to the culmination of this relationship. Most of it involves Kelsey’s ex-boyfriend, and the fact that KD doesn’t realize that the ex-boyfriend is now the EX.
This story had me laughing my head off right at the beginning of the book and then the heat that these two created could burn down a house by itself. These two are very stubborn and it took a little while for them to get to know each other, but once they did the intensity started up. KD decides that he wants the fling of an affair, so he’s all for that part of the incident. However, it doesn’t take long for him to start to question exactly what he feels for Kelsey. Kelsey has wanted to get her ex-boyfriend to make a move for so long that she doesn’t know what to do now that he has. This was a great book. I really enjoyed the humor and the ending was absolutely awesome. I wouldn’t mind having a handy man like this one around me twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
